Macintosh Quadra 605

The Macintosh Quadra 605 was that of the most accessible family Quadra (900 $ in its basic configuration). It was entirely conceived to be the least expensive possible: it embarks a processor 68LC040 to 25 MHz (less expensive and consuming less than the 68040) and does not have a FPU. It is in a new case, a little more compact than that of LLC II and LLC III.

It was marketed under the name of Macintosh LLC 475 for the market of education and Performa 475 and Performa 476 for the general public. The only difference between the Performa 475 and 476 is the size of the Hard drive. The Quadra 605 was withdrawn from the range in October 1994 whereas the models LLC and Performa were sold until in 1996.
