Machine candy with Uzès

The Musée of the candy (which has museum only the name, so much the aspect museology is neglected) with Uzès is centered on the history and the manufacture of the Bonbon S of the mark Haribo.

It presents a history of the creation of these candies through work of their founder Hans Riegel. It then reviews different the Ingrédient S entering manufacture from these Confiserie S, then the manufactoring processes.

An ludo-educational route allows the children, privileged targets of this company, to be interested in the Fabrication throughout the visit.

A store of Haribo products makes it possible to satisfy, realizing payment, we are in a company all the same, small and large at the end of the visit (but it is not free, and even frankly poor).

Several kilometers of Uzès, on the road which connects Nimes to Alès, there exists a locality " Réglisserie" , where the Zan company would have made flora, before becoming Haribo, and closing, creating unemployment in the basin of Ales and the decays in our children.

For as much, the interest of this visit of the Haribo factory is limited: paying entry not to see not large thing of interesting there, the part purely manufacture being closed with the public, and especially a broad merchandizing which does not have great any more a deal to see with a museum worthy of this name.
