MOLERIAE

MOLERIAE - association of the European grinding cities

Association has the aim of sharing and to make known grinding industry and its history, its techniques, its places throughout the world and in particular the continent of Europe. It is interested more particularly in the historical and current aspects of this industry, in the safeguard of its inheritance, the co-operation between cities, territorial collectivities, organizations, companies and private individuals to support knowledge and valorization of it. Association proposes to gather all those - cities, territorial collectivities, institutions, associations, natural persons and morals - which are interested by this history and this activity, all the legal means and in all the countries. |

History

February 25th, 2006 Madam Marie Richard, mayor of the Ferté-sous-Jouarre, proposed the creation of a European association of the grinding cities at the time of the day of the grinding inheritance organized by the city. The constitutive general meeting took place on November 18th, 2006.
