MLS Supporters\' Shield

MLS Supporters' Shield is a trophy decreed each year with the team having obtained the most points at the time of the regular season of the Major League Soccer. At the origin this reward, not recognized by the League, was allotted by fans (from where his name).

In February 2006, the leaders of the League decided that the winner of the trophy would take part in the Coupe of the champions of the CONCACAF, in company of the winner of MLS Cup (the finale of the championship).
