MFM (radio Frenchwoman)
MFM is a station of radio. It is a network musical national FM of category D, emitting on approximately 90 frequencies in France. Its buildings and studios are located at Paris. On the frequencies of Nantes and Marseilles, a local program of the same format than the national antenna is diffused at certain hours.
The radio was born in 1981 under the name of Radio Montmartre. She then proposed a format primarily based on French music of years 1920 at the years 1960. Being a certain success, Radio Montmartre opens frequencies in province as of the end of the Années 1980. In 1995, it is authorized by SCUMS to change name and becomes " Montmartre FM".
In 1998, it is repurchased by group LV and Co property of Gerard Louvin, subsidiary of the Concept group. Following the repurchase Montmartre FM becomes MFM and modifies its programming appreciably, in particular by renovating it. In 2004, the station leaves the street François 1st. in Paris, where it had been lodged for a few months, to move in which occurred of President Kennedy. The programs still undergo a face lift and the claim antenna (slogan) becomes " In the middle of the musique". The color of antenna still evolves/moves until April 2007, date of arrival at the Management of the antenna of Mike Wagner. This one held the same station before a few months within the two networks FM Cherished FM and Nostalgia (group NRJ).
During the month of April 2007, the programming is altered to lead to a musical format software centered on the relaxation and the emotion, diffusing mainly titles gold (in opposition to the innovations) of the Seventies with today. With always the " 40 minutes of music without interruption" on the majority of the time slots. Format aiming primarily a heart of target made up women between 35 and 49 years. The claim of the station becomes in same time " The emotion partagée". For its re-entry of September 2007, the direction of antenna calls upon names of the radio. Organizers which evolved/moved on national radios, to note the arrival of Thierry Debrune (RTL, actor voice-over TV) and of Pierrick Roux (Darling FM).
