M56/M65

The Zastava M56 and M65 are simplified copies of MP40 adopted by JNA in 1956.

Presentation

They differ from it primarily by the rise (tilting 100/200 m) placed in front of the relaxation, the shape curved of the charger and the possibility of receiving a bayonet. M56 fires the Yugoslav lawful ammunition from 7,62 Tokarev. Intended for export, M65 room the 9mm Parabellum

Diffusion

It armed the soldiers with JNA then the Bosnian combatants , Croatian, Macedonians, Kosovan S, Serbe S and Slovenien at the time of the Guerres of Yugoslavia.
