Müller coffee
Café Müller , created in 1978 is one of the most famous works of the German choreographer Pina Bausch and one of works founders of the movement Tanztheater in Contemporary dance.
The dancers evolve/move in an encumbered space of chairs and tables. They have the closed eyes and try to clear a passage in the disorder, at the same time as a group and completely recluses in their research. Tragedy as much as poetic, Café Müller made cry Marco, one of the protagonists of last film of Pedro Almodovar, Parle with it , whose first sequences show an extract of this Ballet.
In connection with works of Fucked Bausch, the German writer Heiner Müller felt disturbed, “because I saw for the first time at the theater of the spectacles which had the structure of the tragedy, which one does not see practically any more on any scene, finally as regards the spoken theater. I was suddenly vis-a-vis a theater and which was without text, which directly touched me”.
