Mîrzâ Ghiyâs Beg
Mirza Ghiyas Beg (Persan: ميرزاغياثبيگ ) was an important VIP of the reign of the emperor moghol Jahangir. He was the father of the wife of Jahangir, Mehrunissa known as Nûr Jahân as well as Abdul Hassan Asaf Khan, which was the Vizier of Shah Jahan, and, by this wire, the grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal, preferred wife of Shah Jahan, buried with the Taj Mahal with Âgrâ.
Ghiyas Beg immigrated of Perse in India after the death of his/her father and the disgrace of his family. It was accepted by the emperor Akbar, and quickly assembled the levels of the complex court of Moghols, having an official row at the court under the reigns of Akbar and its son, Jahangir. Under this last, it was the couch Empire, the treasurer as a chief and accepted the title Itimad-ud-Daula (Persan: إتمادالدولاة ), i.e. Pillar of the State . Its mausoleum is also with Âgrâ.
