Mézilles
Mézilles is a common French, located in the department of the Yonne and the area Burgundy.
Its inhabitants is called Mézillois.
Geography
History
Known at the 5th century under the name of " Miciglae" , it was given by Saint Germain, bishop of Auxerre, with the Monastère of Saint-Like that he had founded with Auxerre. Sit of a Châtellenie pertaining to the Seigneur S of Saint-Fargeau and concerning the Château of Montargis, the common one was amalgamated with the whole of those of the canton of Saint-Fargeau in 1972, and is become again independent in 1976.
