Mésophile

The adjective mésophile refers at an organization which grows under conditions of moderate Température (between 5 and 65 °C). Classically, one speaks about Bactérie S mésophiles when they grow at temperatures ranging between 25 and 40 °C.

The habitat of these organizations is very diversified and cosmopolitan: ground, fresh water and sea water, waste water, on the plants, animals and the man.

Many Bacterium S pathogenic for the man and the mammals has an optimum of growth close to 37 °C, the temperature interns average mammals.

One speaks about bacteria Psychrophile S when they live in cold mediums, and bacteria Thermophile S, when they live in hot mediums.

A many flora mésophile indicates that the process of deterioration is strongly committed.
