Mérobaud
Flavius Merobaudes , known as Mérobaud was an officer frankly, naturalized Roman, Magister equitum (main of the cavalry) of Valentinien Ier.
With died of this last in 375, he gets along with the empress Justine to make only acclaim his son Valentinien II, old of a few years, thus putting Gratien, older brother of Valentinien II, and his entourage, in front of the accomplished fact. He is ordinary consul in 377 and 383.
