Ménodote de Nicomédie

Ménodote de Nicomédie (probably fine of the apr. J. - C., or first half of the second) is the first empirical skeptic doctor whom we know. He appears as that which gave all its rigor to the empirical method.

Biography

We hardly have information on its life. He was the pupil of Antiochos d' Ascalon with Théodas de Laodicée. Galien wrote two books against him.
