Ménehould

was born in first half of the 5th century with Perthes, Champagne village located close to Vitry-le-François. It was girl of the governor of the province, the count Sigmarus, and devoted his life to charity and the devotion.

Its memory is attached to the Holy-Menehould town of , that of the Neuville-with-Bridge and at the village of the Bienville-on-Marne where she died on October 14th, day appointed for its festival.
