Ménara
The Ménara is vast a Jardin planted olive-tree S with approximately 45 min with foot of the place Jamaa El Fna (center of Marrakech). In the middle of this Garden, a large basin with the foot of a house is used as water tank to irrigate the cultures. It is a very peaceful place, with the variation of the tumult of the city. It is thus a place privileged for the walks.
The basin is supplied with water thanks to an old hydraulic system of more than 700 years, which conveys water since the mountains located at 30 km approximately of Marrakech. This basin allows the irrigation of the olive grove.
