Mélodieuse linnet

The mélodieuse linnet ( Carduelis cannabina ) is small a brown Passereau, with the chest dew of the family of the fringillidés . Its chirp is pleasant and soft, its sharp and light flight.

The linnet installs a Nid made with goes-quickly, not very far from the ground, without too much seeming to be concerned with dissimulate it with the eyes of the predatory ones. Perhaps that is worth to him this pejorative use of its name in the language of the human ones: “head of linnet”.

Literature

The expression head of linnet perhaps employed to qualify somebody of thoughtless.
