Mélanthos

In the Greek Mythology, Mélanthos , wire of Andropompos, is the sixteenth legendary king of Athens. Initially king of Messénie, it was driven out by it by the Héraclides Téménos and Cresphontès. He took refuge then with Athens, and détrôna then the reigning king, Thymoétès.

Mélanthos had a son, Codros, which succeeded to him.
