Mélaka

Melanie Karali , alias Mélaka , born the December 30th 1977 with Paris, is a dessinatrice of French Cartoon . She is the girl of the writer Anne Duguël (Gudule) and of the draftsman and editor of cartoons Paul Karali (Carali), and the niece of the draftsman of cartoons Edouard Karali (Édika).

She lived with Paris during a few years but currently lives with Gaillac with Reno, her companion, itself draftsman of cartoons. His/her brother Olivier Karali is also author of cartoons, under the name of Olivier Ka (series of the Amédée Bill in the review Psikopat). His/her other Frederic brother is manager of a store of cartoons of occasion, street of the Pinks in Paris 18th.

Since 1998, it works with the review Psikopat as a model maker and a sub-editor.

It took part also regularly, between 2004 and 2005, in company of the dessinatrices Cha and Laurel, with the magazine Spirou with their heading 33 rue Carambole .

It was the godmother of the 1st Festival of blogs data base in Paris in 2005, in company of Boulet.
