Máximo Laura , born with Ayacucho (Peru), is a Peruvian Tisserand .

The Tapisserie is one of the great traditions of the Peru. The richness of its reasons, its colors and its smoothness are universally appreciated. This art, which dates from the cultures pre Incas and which was maintained all along our history, remained until our days thanks to the work of artists who express an ingeniousness and a creativity without par while integrating the traditional values.

Máximo Laura, is one of them. It was born with Ayacucho, cradle of civilization Huari and is resulting from a family of creators of carpet. After its academic works in letters, it dedicates its life to this art by studying it, by making it evolve/move and by transmitting it. Its course impressing of exposures and workshops carried out in Peru and abroad, the prices which it obtained, places it among the very first in Peruvian textile creation.
