Lycoris , is a Distribution Linux, called formerly Redmond Linux Corp. She saw the day in 2000, with the idea to make free software easy to use. She became better known under the name of Lycoris Desktop/LX. Lycoris is currently amalgamating with Mandriva.
The company is currently based in Maple Valley, Washington, the USA.
Lycoris Desktop/LX
Lycoris Desktop/LX was in the beginning based on a Linux distribution for work station, Caldera 3.1. Desktop/LX manages accesses Internet, office automation, the multi-media one, the entertainments and much more. The office and the applications resemble Windows XP.Lycoris developed a broad product range and services for complémenter the operating system, by including an office automation continuation, plays and documentations.
