Luzoué
The Luzoué is a left Affluent Gave of Pau, with Lagor, between the Baïse of Lasseube and the Geü.
Etymology
Luzoue probably comes from the Basque Lohizun has indicating a “muddy place”.It is documented in the old forms Luzies (1344), Lo Luzué (1607), Luzvé (1719),--> Luzouer (1763), Luzoé .
Geography
Luzoué is born in north from Estialescq on the commune of Lahourcade, then runs out towards the North-West to join the gave of Pau with Lagor.
