Luzillat is a common French, located in the department of the Puy-de-Dôme and the area Auvergne.

Geography

Luzillat is located in Puy De Dôme, in the plain of Limagne, between Maringues and Puy-Guillaume. Its position close to the Allier river enables him to have a relatively important and same agricultural activity in time to trade by inland waterway.

Luzillat is composed of 18 hamlets in addition to the Borough. They are of Barbine, Vialle, Montgacon, Demolle, Vendègre, Villeret, Fumoux, Coutans, Villard, Minots, Garmins, Périlèves, the Low Smallholding, Armonière, Ruisseau of Tank, the Four Ways, Janquets and finally the Pines.

History

The commune owes its name in a Gallo-Roman named Lucilius. She lived the history of our territory, that it is at the time of the Romain empire, the Middle Ages, during the Revolution or in this end of millenium.
