Luton

Luton (to pronounce Luttonne) is a British city which depended formerly on the Bedfordshire (England), but which constitutes since 1997 a distinct administrative entity. Its population is estimated at 138  000 inhabitants.

Luton includes/understands an airport, the AƩroport of London Luton, and an university center, the University of Luton. Between 1905 and 2002, Luton sheltered the factories of the car manufacturer Vauxhall.

The city lodges the Luton Town Football Club, football club which in particular gained the League Cup in 1988 vis-a-vis Arsenal.
