Lurettes filled

Lurettes filled is a collection of three Nouvelle S written by Boris Vian, published in the current editions, following the novel the red Grass . The stories are told with the manner characteristic of Vian, a mixture of surrealism, bursting of the directions, a subtle criticism but especially of a caustic black humor.

the Recall deals with jumping man of the Empire State Building with a simple aim of committing suicide. On each ten floors, it thus notes what it sees, while mémorant memories which brought to him on the roof. He forgets to open them with twentieth, realizes three lower stages, and stops of them in the apartment to replace its tie, while discussing with the owner. The Recall is thus a title with double direction, a pun between Faire a recall, which means to be dropped, and the recall of the directions. In parallel, the Recall is a criticism of several varied subjects of which the religion.
the Firemen treats of a fascinating apartment fire because a child played with matches. The father, not wanting to worry the small one, brings it in the kitchen, plays with him with the small cars before laying down it afterwards one hour. Then, it tries to extinguish the fire and calls the firemen. Unfortunately, since the firemen have a charged schedule, they will not come front, the day after tomorrow with three hours…
the Pensioner deals with three children according to pensioner and launching various projectiles to him on the bump of its back. Towards the end, one two change on the old man, this one dislodges it, takes its revolver, and ends up killing it.
