Luna Park (Buenos Aires)

The Luna Park of Buenos Aires in Argentine is a covered stage, where are carried out a series of artistic activities sporting and even policies or deprived. One of its names is also the " Palacio of los Deportes" (Sport hall, in French), because it was basically a place where the boxing matches occurred.

It is located in the district (or barrio) of San Nicolás, i.e. into full macrocentre with the city, with 600 meters hardly of the Casa Rosada and the Plaza of Mayo. It occupies a block of houses or manzana , bordered by the Calle Bouchard (in the west), Avenida Eduardo Madero (in the east), the Calle Lavalle (in north) and the Avenida Corrientes (in the South).

This stage was pilot various significant events with the XXe century, and among them of the events political, religious, artistic, sporting and social.

He saw ravelling sportsmen of any high level, best in their discipline. Until there is a few years the sport was the main activity of this stage, but currently it is also used for the presentation of spectacles or certain social events (for example, presentation of the Circus of Moscow, recitals of various types of music, Ricardo Arjona, Holiday one Ice and even the festival of marriage of the footballer Diego Maradona).

Very close to Luna Park is the station Leandro NR. Alem of the Línea. More moved away, with 700 meters from there one can also come station Plaza of Mayo of the Línea.
