Lummen is a common Dutch-speaking of Belgium located in Flemish Région in the province of Limbourg. Its total population is approximately 13.500 inhabitants for an total surface area of 53,38 km ².
Lumen is known for its exchanging highway rather dangerous connecting the highways E 313 and E 314.
Etymology
It is probable that the name comes from Latin Lumen who means Lumière .
Geography
Lumen is in the area of the Campine. Its basement is thus sandy.
