Luiza Rosa Todi , born Luiza Rosa d' Aguiar the January 9th 1753 with Setubal and deceased on October 1st 1833 is a Portuguese singer of opera .
Biography
She marries the July 20th 1769 her professor of song the Violoniste Italian Francesco Saverio Todi. She begins in the Opera-puffs out without much success, and turns then to the tragic repertory. In 1778, she sings with the Concert of sacred music. Its favorite authors are Paisiello and Piccini. She attends the living room of Madam Vigée-Lebrun. She occurs in all the courses of Europe and sings in front of Frederic II of Prussia, the Emperor Joseph II and large the Catherine II of Russia, which subjugated becomes his/her friend.Her husband dies in 1803. Loving and faithful, it will carry mourning until the end of its days.
Luisa was a very cultivated woman, spoke five languages and played of the Pianoforte and the Harpe. It was a mezzo with the stamp naturally moving, playing with much expression. Become blind, it is withdrawn with Lisbon where it dies in 1833.
