Luigi Pistilli
Luigi Pistilli (born the July 19th 1929 with Grosseto, in the south of the Tuscan - died the April 21st 1996 with Milan) was an actor Italy N who played in the westerns spaghetti of Sergio Leone. It also took part in televised series and plays.
Biography
Pistilli was born with Grosseto in 1929. It followed studies to become actor with Milan, with the Piccolo Teatro of Giorgio Strehler. It obtained its diploma in 1955. Pistilli forever really left the theater world and often took part in the parts directed by Giorgio Strehler. In 1947, it makes its first appearance with the cinema in Dark Passage .During the Years 1960, it becomes known thanks to the westerns of Sergio Leone. He interprets the role of “Groggy” (right-hand man of “the Indian”) in “ And for some dollars moreover ” (1965). In “ the Good, the Rough one and the Gangster ” (1966), he plays the part of a priest, the brother of “Tuco”. Thereafter, Pistilli had a regular role in the Italian series The Octopus based on the topic of the Mafia.
It committed suicide in 1996 in its residence Milan board little before appearing in the last representation of “ Tosca ” (put in scene by Terrence Rattigan). Tosca had been strongly criticized and Pistilli had been affected. According to its last letter, it had sunk in the depression, state which had been reinforced by the negative comments of the public about its rupture with the actress Milva.
