Lugo is a city of the North-West of the Spain, capital of the Province of Lugo, in the autonomous community of Galicia. It is located at a hundred kilometer of the " Costa Verde" on the the Bay of Biscay. The city is known for the ramparts which surround the city, vestige preserved well of the Roman Civilization; they date from the 3rd century (" muralla of Lugo").
History
Under the mode of Napoleon, at the time of the countryside of Spain, Lugo is occupied by French. Between the 18 and May 23rd 1809, François Louis Baker-Sarlovèse defend the city with only 1500 men against 20.000 besieging Spanish.
