Ludovico Buti

Ludovico Buti (v. 1560 - v. 1611) was a Italian painter late Maniérisme of the school florentine.

Biography

Ludovico Buti specialized in the decoration of large surfaces near more marked personalities like Alessandro Allori, Bernardino Poccetti or Santi di Tito with the ceilings of the Uffizi, the cloister of Santa Maria Novella in which it carried out five medallions. Towards the end of its life, its feature was done more flexible, influenced by the incipient Baroque.
