Lucrèce is a tragedy in five acts of Nicolas Filleul, published in 1566 in the theaters of Gaillon , after to be represented in September of the same year to the castle of Gaillon in front of Charles IX and Catherine de Médicis.
Summary
- Act 1 : Sexte Tarquin is enthusiast of Lucrèce during the head office of Ardée.

Act 2 : Lucrèce thinks that its suicide will involve the revolt of its fellow-citizens. The Nurse tries to dissuade it from this project.

Act 3 : a messenger arrives. Collatin and Brute discuss suicide.

Act 4 : Lucrèce wants to die. Learning the rape from its wife, Collatin wants to die, him too. Rough intends to act.

Act 5 : the Nurse tells the death of Lucrèce. Collatin is exhorted with courage. The city revolts, Brute will avenge Lucrèce.
