History
This mark is introduced for the first time in 1871 like a mixture to smoke by R.A. Patterson of Richmond, Virginia. In 1916, the cigarette is introduced into a dark green package by the American Tobacco Company.The package becomes white in 1942. In a well-known publicity campaign which affirms that Lucky Strike is gone-T from there war, the company claims that the Cuivre contained in green ink is necessary to the effort of war.
