Lucien Guitry

Lucien German Guitry , born with Paris the December 13rd 1860, and died in Paris on June 1st 1925, is a French actor.

He was the largest actor of his time, equal masculine of Sarah Bernhardt, in company of which he plays regularly. He creates outstanding roles which are worth international triumphs with repetition to him. He is also known for his many successes near the fair sex.

Scrambled during thirteen years with his Sacha son, it will find it in 1918 and they will start series of collaborations to success.

Its bust, inaugurated by his/her son on November 10th, 1931, is 18 avenue Elisée-Reclus in Paris, the private mansion, now disappeared, that Lucien Guitry had made build, with the return from a triumphal round in Latin America.

It is buried with the Cimetière of Montmartre, with its sons Sacha and Jean. The last wife of Sacha Guitry, born Lana Marconi, is also buried there.
