Lucien Arbel
Lucien Arbel de Flassieu (born the September 5th 1826 with Saint-Lupicin and deceased the February 20th 1892 with Paris) was Député and Senator of the Third Republic.
Biography
After having been Gadzart with Aix-en-Provence in 1843, it takes the direction of the forging mills of Bank-with-Gier. In 1869, it creates the establishments Arbel close to the station of Couzon with Bank-with-Gier, in the the Loire.It becomes, in 1870, colonel of the National guard. The following year, it becomes Député of the Third Republic, elected center left of the Loire. It will occupy this function of the February 8th 1871 with the March 7th 1876. It becomes Senator then.
In 1878, it takes again Célestin Gerard the workshops of Tracteur S and agricultural machinery of Vierzon and founds the French company of farm equipment and industrial (which will become SFV, before being repurchased by Case).
In 1879, Arbel is re-elected Senator and until the January 4th 1888 will remain it. At this point in time it occupies this function that Frederic Auguste Bartholdi carves his bust. It founds in 1890 with Douai the Forging mills of Douai. This company manufactures special coaches for Houille and Coke. A patent is deposited for Wagon S for heavy transport.
