Lubna Aga

Lubna Aga is an south-Asian artist-painter of origin Pakistan ease. Its fabrics are typical Islamic art modern, as well as Asian Art contemporary.

It exposed its works in several museums and galleries throughout the world, in particular in its native land the Pakistan and other countries like the Great Britain, the Japan, the Jordan, the Suisse and the the United States. Although Asian and Islamic art contemporary are characterized by the creation of the tables of Miniature and Calligraphie, recent works of Lubna Aga are inspired by the Asian Architecture and Islamic, as well as the traditional Moslem craft industry like the Sculpture on wood, work on metal and the production of the textile.

Through its works, Lubna Aga presents other aspects of the Moslem culture reproduced for the first time on fabric, thus reflecting a new manner of inspiration of the Muslim art. Its paintings are a discovery of the méditatif and decorative craft industry of the Moslem history through its forms of architecture and complex reasons for design.

The art of Lubna Aga is a dialog with its personal history. Its work is focused on the Canevas and work containing wood reflected through the thousands of Pixel S and the organic shapes of its tables which are not limited to rigid constructions of the traditional Islamic heritage. Thus, its works reflect the Muslim art represented by the mosaic covered with Tuile S, the complex sculptures and decorative work on metal.

The tables of Lubna Aga belong to the permanent artistic collections of the Asian collection of the Musée Bradford in Great Britain, of the national consulate of arts to Pakistan and the national gallery of the Art schools of Jordan. Regarded as one of the leaders of south-Asian and Pakistani art female, Lubna Aga crossed the doors of the artistic history.

Aga lives and works with Brookline (Massachusetts, the United States).
