Lu Wencheng
Lu Wencheng (1898 - 1981) was a type-setter and musician, considered as a Master of the Cantonese music and popular music of the Guangdong. The gaohu was developed by him, by increasing the heights of the Erhu and by replacing the silk cords by metal cords, like by modifying the way of playing. It composed " The moon of autumn on a lake without vagues" in the Thirties, remained since like traditional of the Cantonese music.
