History

According to the most probable version, the name of Lozanne would come from Hosanna sung the day of the Branches.

Lozanne was a long time an important relay of Diligence on the Route of Lyon - Echarmeaux; then, the Railroad gradually took over starting from 1866, year of the opening of the Gare.
