Lower middle class

The small Bourgeoisie is a form economically weaker of the middle-class. They are thus people who has small companies (grocer, etc)

According to the Marxist theory , this group has little to be able to transform the company, because they can be organized with difficulty, being obliged to be “the ones against the others” because of the competition of the market.

It is a category which is declining continuous in the industrialized countries. The grocers close, and small the grocers are replaced in the labor force by employees of supermarket and hypermarket, which make, them, left the Working class.

The transformations of the company during the twentieth century also gave place to the emergence of a category of managers, junior staff, even of senior officers. Some consider that it is about a “news lower middle class”. Even if they are technically Salarié S, they often have a direct interest in the profits of the company, and are not very capable to join the Travailleur S at the time of a conflict.
