The Low Alentejo - in Portuguese: Baixo Alentejo - is one of the 30 statistical under-areas of the Portugal.
With 4 other under-areas, it forms the Alentejo.
This under-area is homonymous of an old province, without the two territories being recut.
Geography
Low Alentejo is bordering:- in north, of the central Alentejo,
- in the east, of the Spain,
- in the south, of the Algarve,
- in the west, of the littoral Alentejo.
