Low-Styrie

The Low-Styrie (Slovenien: Spodnja Štajerska , German: Latin Untersteiermark , : Styria ) is a traditional area of the North-East of the Slovenia corresponding to the southernmost third of old the duchy of Styrie. Septentrional two thirds are in Austria and form the Land of Styrie. The duchy of Styrie was divided into 1918, the High-Styrie remaining Austrian while the Lowone joined the Royaume of Serb, Croatian and Slovenien which will become the Yugoslavia.
Slovenia still does not have other official divisions only the traditional communes but areas (Slovenien: pokrajina ) is very much used. The Lowone is particularly known for its Vin S. Maribor (German: Marburg is the basic main city Styrie. Celje, Ptuj and Velenje is the other urban communes.
