Loves of the pretenses
Amours of the pretenses is an album of songs written and composed by Serge Gainsbourg, interpreted by Jane Birkin, left in 1990.
The small pocket takes again a portrait with the ink of Jane Birkin, drawn by Gainsbourg itself, which returns for the occasion to its vocation first of painter. The history says that the feather broke, mackling the drawing of some spots which were kept.
Three clips are produced to accompany promotion by the album. The first, for “Loves of the pretenses”, is carried out by Serge Gainsbourg. Jane Birkin wanders there in a corridor in spiral papered of reproductions of the Infante painted by Diego Vélasquez. Second is realized by Patrice Chéreau on “And when well even”: entirely in black and white, it rests mainly on the play of actress of the singer. Jane Birkin carries out itself the last clip, for “Coils fifteen”, on a fancy for a teenager, around a tennis court.
