the Lovers of Vérone is a French film carried out by André Cayatte in 1948
Summary
Shortly after the war, one turns to Venice an adaptation of Romeo and Juliette. In margin of the protagonists, two young people will live in their turn the drama of Shakespeare: Angelo, glassmaker with Murano, Georgia, girl of a fascistic magistrate . They double the high-speed motorboats of film and live a dubious love and always threatened, in particular by the intrigues of the Rafaële ladle, pickup of the Maglia family. Angelo is killed and Georgina dies in her sides.
