Lovely Complex

Lovely Complex (ラブ ★ コン, Rabu Kon ) is a Manga of the type Shōjo creates by the mangaka Aya Nakahara. There exists also an adaptation out of film, in Anime, and even in video plays on the Playstation 2. The manga is published in France by the editor Delcourt.

Summary

Lovely Complex is the history of a relation between two complex characters by their size.

Risa Koizumi is a girl who measures 172cm, which makes of it a person of big size compared to the other girls of its school (the intermediate size of a Japanese woman is of 158.6cm). On the contrary, Atsushi Ootani is a boy who measures only 156cm, which does not prevent it from playing in a club of basketball.

These two characters form a duet of humorists in spite of them because of their difference in size and their ceaseless squabbles. But their size prevent them from opening out completely: they miss confidence in them as regards the relations with the people of the opposite sex.

During the summer holidays, Risa Koizumi and Atushi Otani fall in love with two other characters and decide to help and to encourage themselves mutually to overcome their complexes and to try to allure the elected officials of their hearts…

But by remain at the sides of Atushi Ootani, Risa does not begin T it not to become in love with him?

Characters

Koizuma Risa : Koizumi is a too large girl for the average of the girls of its age. It is, to the beginning, in love with Suzuki but will quickly realize that it likes in fact Otani. It has evil has to allure Otani because of the fact that it calls it " the géante" and also owing to the fact that everyone considers impossible the fact that Otani can leave with a too large girl for him…

Atsushi Otani : Otani is a very popular boy thanks to his station in the team of basketball. The girls find it a little small cool but nevertheless. this is besides the large complex of Otani. He and Risa form the " All Hanshin-Kyojin" Otani being the " Hanshin". It has evil has to know which are its feelings for Koizumi and even when it guesses some nature has evil to see it as his/her boyfriend considering whom they were always two opposite. His/her two better friends are Nakao and Suzuki…

Nobu Ishihara : Nobu is a devoted girl but a not very aggressive. It is the best friend of Koizumi and Chiharu. She leaves with Nakao and has a little evil has to be contained vis-a-vis the indelicacy of Otani. She gives rather bad councils considering that she forever have problems of this kind…

Nakao Heikichi : Nakao is a very nice boy and very nice always ready has to comfort one of his/her friends. It always puts the finger where that hurt and always causes a reaction on behalf of Otani. It is also very in love with his Nobu boyfriend with whom it intends to pass her life…

Chiharu Tanaka : Chiharu is an young girl timid and particularly allergic to the boys. She does not feel well that with his/her friends but will be slackened more with Otani because of its size it makes him think has a girl. She has the fancy for Suzuki and they end up leaving together. It is one of the best friends of Risa…

Ryouji Suzuki : One does not know Suzuki well, but it has the fancy for Chiharu and ends up leaving with it. It is present everywhere, but very discrete.
