Love for love

Amour for love ( Coils for Love in English) is a Comédie written by the Dramaturge English William Congreve and played for the first time in 1695. The part, in five acts, lies within the scope of the Littérature of the English Restoration.

Amour for love is inspired by the frank Man of William Wycherley.

Summary

The part recalls the tribulations of Valentine, an young man fallen in love with Angélica and fighting against its family, her creditors and the proper indifference of the young woman to manage to allure the latter.
