Love affair
An love affair is, by definition, a relation between two or several people (see Polyamour and Polygamie) (of the opposite sex or the same sex), based on an unspecified attraction between these people.
An love affair is, most of the time, the base of a Amour between these people, and very often the base of sexual relationships.
Sometimes, the partners in love choose to make their union final (or hope that it will be it) by contracting a Mariage, and/or to found a family by designing or adopting a child (S).
An love affair can be exclusive (only one partner in love at the same time) or not (Polyamour, Polygamie).
In the Occidental culture, the love affair implies specific codes (St. Valentine's day, reproduction, etc), remainder as in each human civilization.
