The Village of Rochemenier is the site the most complete troglodyte of the Loire Valley.

One visits there since 1967 two old farms with dwellings and dependences dug in the rock, sheltering several hundreds of country tools and movable, a farmyard with the old poultry races, an underground vault and a house troglodyte modernized. 20 rooms extend on a surface from one hectare.
