Louky Bersianik

Louky Bersianik (born Lucille Durand) is a novelist, Poète and essay writer Québécois E born the November 14th 1930 with Montreal.

She holds a Maîtrise in French Lettres of the Université of Montreal, a Doctorat of the Sorbonne as well as a Diplôme in electronic media of the Center of studies of radio and television of Issy-les-Moulineaux.

She wrote for Richard Séguin the words of a disc, Trace and contrast , which obtained in 1981 the first Prix of the disc with Spa and the Prix of the best song of the year to Antibes, for Chanson to always last . She also wrote texts for the radio, television and the cinema and collaborated in several reviews.

Its novel Euguélionne , published in 1976, is regarded as the first large Québécois novel of feminist inspiration.
