One can quote the martyrdom set up thanks to the megalithic stones recovered in the area by the abbot Jacques Cotteux, chaplain with the prison of Chateaubriant, on a ground of which he was owner, in the field of Holy Catherine. Construction began on November 2nd, 1871 when the chaplain was 36 years old, to finish in 1892. This martyrdom with characters, is close to the cemetery on the old road of Chateaubriant.
The house of the writer Rene Guy Cadou in the school where he taught is one of the most beautiful achievements of the area. Centered on the poetry and the work of this teacher, internationally known poet, the residence is located in the borough, on the road of Erbray.
The castle of Caratel is impossible to circumvent, it can be visited at the time of the days of the inheritance in September. It is a private castle, builds between 1648 and 1653 on foundations dating from XVIe century. The owners of the places were Isabelle Dispanays before 1644 - Family DREUX of 1644 to 1680 - Francoise Sagnier in 1680. One finds then the surnames of Thierry of Prevalage (until approximately 1750) then that of Bouexic of Driennays. At the 19th century, the castle becomes the property of the Family De Cambourg, owner family still in 2007. (see other information below).
The Paved Forest, of a surface of 600 hectares is a hâvre peace and of walk for in love ones with nature.
