Louise Contat

Louise - Francoise Contat is a French Actrice born with Paris the June 16th 1760 and died in the same city the March 9th 1813.

“ It played the comedy with perfection and was pointed out by the flexibility of its talent, also succeeding in the roles of large vain and those of maidservants ”.

It partly made the fortune of the parts of Marivaux and Beaumarchais. It left the theater in 1808. She had married a nephew of Évariste de Parny. His/her younger sister Emilie was also actress.
