Louise Beaudoin
Louise Beaudoin (September 26th 1945 with Quebec -) is a political woman Québécois.
Biography
It obtains a control in history with the Université Laval and a control in Sociologie with the Sorbonne.Of 1973 with 1976, it works with the National school of public administration (ENAP). It is also the director of cabinet of the minister Claude Morin of 1976 with 1981. She is director of the French businesses to the ministry for the International relations of Quebec of 1981 with 1983 and acting general from Quebec in Paris in 1984 - 1985. And it is Minister for the International relations October 12th 1985 with the December 12th 1985, date on which the Parti Québécois loses the capacity. She is close to Rene Lévesque during the last years of her life.
She is elected appointed Québécois Party in the Circonscription of Chambly in 1994, then re-elected in 1998. But it was demolished by liberal the Diane Legault in 2003 by a narrow majority of 400 votes.
She was the minister responsible for the Charte of the French language, of the International relations, the intergovernmental Relations, the Francophonie, the Culture and the Communications, the Mondialisation.
With Sheila Copps with the Ministry for the Canadian inheritance, Beaudoin also worked with the adoption of the Universal declaration of UNESCO on the cultural diversity, voted after the attacks of the September 11th, 2001. The same year, she shows the government of Canada to lie not to let Bernard Landry take part in the Sommet of Americas. Since its departure of the National Assembly of Quebec, she teaches with the Université from Quebec in Montreal as associated professeure and continues her study on the Mondialisation.
After its defeat in 2003, she had always hoped to be able to become again the deputy of the county of Chambly, but at the beginning of 2007, she made publish a letter in the newspaper the Press explaining the reasons of her final retirement of the Québécois policy.
In this letter, it in particular mentioned its new political struggle: the linguistic Diversity. Its former principal private secretary, Bertrand St-Arnaud, stood as a candidate to the Québécois general election of 2007. It is today professeure associated with the department with political science with UQÀM.
It did not make mystery of its friendship with its political adversary, Liza Frulla. In 2007, they publish the book prohibited Amitié jointly . It holds the French citizenship in addition.
In May 2007, it publicly supported the French Socialist party of Ségolène Royal.
