Louise Augusta de Bade , (Elisabeth Alexïevna for the orthodoxe religion), born on March 9th 1779 in Zärhingen, deceased the May 16th 1826 was empress of Russia.
Girl of Charles Louis de Bade and of Amélie of Hesse-Darmstadt, it married in 1793 the tsarévitch Alexandre Pavlovitch which will become Alexandre Ier of Russia.

Biography
After the death of their last child, both lived extra-marital adventures, but with the years they approached and of tender bonds linked them. Louise Augusta de Bade was regarded by her contemporaries as a very beautiful woman appreciating the beautiful jewels and beautiful clothing.The Russian poet Alexandre Pouchkine composed for Louise Augusta de Bade a poem entitled I was not born to amuse the tsars . After the death of Alexandre Ier of Russia in 1825, it lived with the palate of summer.
Louise Augusta de Bade died on the road of Taganrog and Saint-Pétersbourg in 1826.
